Hello and welcome!
My name is Tanya and I'm a twenty-something trying her luck on the other side of the world. I am originally from Canada but I am currently in Masaka, Uganda where I am interning with a local NGO for six months.
I love to travel and am fascinated by new cultures. I'm a rookie photographer in that I really enjoy taking photos of things I find beautiful or interesting, but I'm too lazy and cheap to actually learn and buy the things I need to feel more like a pro. I have come to realize that I have a slight photographic obsession with old doors and old windows, as well as structures that have been reclaimed by nature.
I enjoy experience things from every which way; whether it be 100ft under water, clinging to the side of a dangerous mountain trail, walking through the streets of an unfamiliar city, or taking in the view of the clouds from a plane to my next destinations. I feel I've finally come in to my own in the past few years and am trying to experience as much as I can with the time that I have. Thanks for coming along for the ride.
